"Honest John Plain & Amigos return to London at Camden's Underworld on Friday 25 March 2005 to support Jayne County & The Electric Chairs."
Anyone go to this? I remember going to see the Crybabys in Birmingham just after Darrell left Dogs D'amour, and only 5 people turned up, so they never bothered playing! I'd love to see Honest John play live, though a Crybabys reunion would be better.

Honest John Plain & Amigos album came out about 12 months ago. You can probably get it through the Boys website www.theboys.co.uk I've also got the Mannish Boys album from the 80s with HJP and the album he did with Pete Stride.
I remember hearing the Crybabys "You don't have to wear boots to be a cowboy" on the friday rock show and it blew my socks off.

Great band. I wish I could have a chance at seeing some of these dang bands, or could have. But since most of them were so small to begin with, they never made it to my side of the marble. Great mix of Faces and Ian Hunter, IMO.
